Are you getting ready for our session? GREAT! I’m so excited :)

Preparing for the session

Family Session

Getting good rest the night before, and timing naps for the kids accordingly - would be the first great step you can take. However, if the kids aren’t cooperating, it is not the time to panic: we will use their energy for our portrait session. Childhood is beautiful, unpredictable and full of fascination. We want to capture it as is, so you will have great memories of this irreplaceable time!
Second, meeting 15 minutes before our photo session would be another great step! If we do not have an opportunity to meet prior to our session, we could use a few extra minutes to break the ice before we start our session. That way you and the kids will feel even more comfortable.
Third, it will go great! I want you to come with the smile on your face, knowing that you will get beautiful quality time with your family and get beautiful pictures as a result!

What do I wear?

I want you to feel like yourself at our session. You tell me your preference and we can build up ideas from there! I have mood boards, wardrobe ideas, and posing samples on my pinterest page already. Feel free to take a look. You are also welcome to check out my client closet, or I can suggest where to buy certain items. Most likely, you already own something very beautiful that would totally go with our concept!
I recommend a solid color clothing for family sessions, aka. without a pattern. Patterns are harder to match within the family. Leaning towards neutral color scheme (white, beige, tan, khaki, etc.) will make the huge difference, believe me.
Unrestrictive clothing (flowy dresses or loose shirts) will make you feel more comfortable while moving and posing. I advise to consider that, while planning for the session.
If you would like to access items from my client closet, don’t hesitate to let me know and I will show you what I have!

Attention Seniors!

Congrats! Let’s make this easy for you. One very important thing I want you to remember is to relax and not to think of how the photos will turn out. Pick the outfit(s) prior to the photo session ant try them on in front of the mirror. We want you to feel great and confident! And while you are looking at that mirror, don’t forget to pose and pick a side of you that you like the best :)
I would love to make your vision come to reality. Please share the thoughts and ideas, or reference photos of what your vision looks like, so we can work together to make it happen. There is no judgement zone - please feel free to share anything with me, whether its concerns, tweaks, or silly thoughts.
